Exciting News: Introducing “Field Notes from the Farm”
At United Chestnuts, we’re passionate about growth, education, and community within the chestnut industry. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a new initiative to support and inspire fellow chestnut enthusiasts: the Field Notes From The Farm series!
Brad and Melanie Jones, the driving force behind United Chestnuts, are hitting the road to visit some of the most successful chestnut farms in the United States. The mission? Simply to learn from industry leaders, share best practices, and foster collaboration to help the booming chestnut industry thrive.
They will kick off the series and visit two of the country’s largest and most respected chestnut producers. Their first stop will be Route 9 Cooperative and Empire Chestnuts in Ohio, where they’ll meet with Greg and Amy Miller. Known for their innovative practices and dedication to quality, the Millers are a wealth of knowledge, and we can’t wait to learn from them.
