New Chestnut & Chicken Dish to Try!

We’ve been busy in the kitchen, and last night, we whipped up something special—chicken topped with crushed chestnuts served alongside tortellini in a savory broth. The rich flavors of the chestnuts added a unique twist to the dish. It’s a pretty elegant meal you can easily recreate at home. I used a recipe from The Complete TV Show Cookbook. It called for duck, but I used chicken with a nice portion of oven-roasted chestnuts. It’s definitely going into our regular recipe rotation! If you have some favorites, please consider sharing them on the United Chestnuts Community Facebook page or email me, and we’ll share them in the blog.

Thank for sharing. Roasted some of your chestnuts yesterday and they are delicious!! Loved them warm with just some salt, and also used in a Pork dish. Appreciate having fresh, US grown chesnuts.. thank you!!
